About
Steady State Endurance

Jocelyn Fredine, CAT(C)
Certified Athletic Therapist
& Run Coach

With a foundation in Kinesiology and over 20 years as a Certified Athletic Therapist, my approach to coaching is rooted in evidence and consistency. I work with athletes to find the balance between performance goals and physical health, helping them build the resilience needed to train consistently for the long term.

At Steady State Endurance, every program is suited to your lifestyle and intentionally designed to help you train smarter and move with purpose.

Coaching Philosophy

The name Steady State reflects how I believe meaningful progress in running actually happens. In exercise physiology, it describes the point where effort and adaptation come into balance. For me, that same idea shows up in training as steady, consistent work that allows runners to grow stronger over time.

Running rewards patience. The athletes who continue to improve are rarely the ones chasing the biggest or hardest workouts. They’re the ones who show up week after week, build their capacity gradually and allow their bodies the time they need to adapt. My goal as a coach is to help runners find that rhythm.

I want the athletes I work with to feel confident in their training, to understand why they’re doing what they’re doing and to build the durability that allows them to keep running for many years. Progress doesn’t come from perfection. It comes from consistent, thoughtful work. Steady State Endurance was built around that idea.

Get to Know me

Running entered my own life in 2013 after my second son was born. What began as a way to get outside with my young kids quickly became something much more meaningful. Running became the space that was truly mine. It challenged me, grounded me and showed me what steady, patient work can lead to over time.

Since then I've progressed from my first 10K to completing more than 20 half marathons and 8 marathons, including the Boston Marathon.

Today I work with runners of many different backgrounds and experience levels, helping them train in a way that is thoughtful, sustainable and grounded in science. I focus on purposeful run development, strength work to help you stay healthy and consistent, and clear communication so you understand the why behind your training.

As a mom of three busy boys, I also understand that training rarely happens in perfect conditions. Work, family and life all play a role. Good coaching respects that reality and builds a plan that fits within it.
